Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That B

Dear Ladies, before you read this please know I love you.

I’m sure you’ve seen these …

And one of my personal favorites …

Well that’s what I’ve been saying to myself lately.

I swear!

Every time I go to do some thing, I say to myself …

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

As I sit in my kitchen looking at my kitchen window without a window treatment …

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

As I put on my jacket that’s missing a button …

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Fix a broken heel from a trip on the curb …

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

When my husband tries to talk to me at the dinner table …

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

And then yesterday afternoon as I was having lunch, I overheard 6 office ladies complaining about several different female co-workers, one after the other. And I thought to myself, thank goodness I no longer work in an office full of women. I’d rather work with 100 men. With men – you battle it out, walk away, and all is well the next day. But women – The bitching, complaining, crying, grudges, jealousy – as the ladies at the table next to me were complaining about¬† – GOODNESS …

I’m sorry ladies!

I love you.

I do.

And if I were a female reading this blog, I’d probably think to myself – What a “B”!

I’m never reading her blog ever again because …

Have a good day all!

Love you!

  1. Honey – you are so on target wit this one! I have to say – after spending most of my adult working life in male dominated fields, when I fell into a job that was female dominated I felt like I had fallen off into another universe! Lordy ! Needless to say that wasn’t a particularly long career – I went scurrying back to the male world prettty darn fast- much easier to work with men! Sorry just sign me up for the Ain’t Got Time For That B club but that’s they way I feel! :)

  2. Seriously, I will now continually have that phrase in my mind!! One of my favorite blog posts of yours ever!! For me, so perfect. My husband, on the other hand, took note of your “Tabletalk,” advertisement at the end of the blog. R.C. Sproul is his all time favorite pastor and author! Very cool that he is advertising on your blog!

  3. I totally agree!!! I’m the office manager and the only woman where I work.. I love it!! Although, I swear, men can be just as moody and judgmental as women.. at least they keep it amongst themselves, tho, and leave me alone!
