Daylight Savings Time Change
Does anyone else have a hard time adjusting to this time change? This one always seems harder for me. Yesterday I was in slow motion and ended up taking a 2 hour nap and then couldn’t sleep last night. I’ve been up for a hour today and am ready to go back to sleep. Even after a pot of coffee.
I hope to be back to normal tomorrow.

I don’t like this time changing - I say pick a time and stick with it! Off to drink my pot of coffee, do you think anyone would mind if I drank straight from the pot?

Our boys don’t want to go to bed unless it is dark outside… Now what am I supposed to do with them?
I guess I will figure it out once I get up from my nap!

I do not recall ever having a decent hair day on the first morning of a time change. I should be embarrassed to be at work today, really! I look like I am wearing a straw hat but, nope, it is just my hair protesting this disruption in sleep patterns.

It’s always a difficult adjustment for me when we jump ahead in the spring. I really miss that hour of sleep!
But I love Daylight Savings Time because Chicago is on the Eastern edge of the time zone. Without Daylight Savings Time, the sun would set way too early in the summer. As it is, on the longest day of the year, the sun sets around 8:30 p.m.
I am most definitely NOT a morning person, so I really like my evening daylight hours.

I am the 4:00 a.m. morning person! Living in Chicago you would most definitely have to be an evening person. Two of my favorite Chicago restaurants; The Chop House (Steak & Lobster) and Dues (Pizza).

I actually don’t have as much trouble with this time change as the one that comes in the fall. I hate losing the hour on the day it occurs, but the overall change doesn’t seem to be as bad for me.

It doesn’t really bother me all that much either, but I know a lot of people have a hard time with it.
