Hunting Season Over Fishing Yet to Begin
With hunting season over and fishing season yet to begin, I am finding that there are a variety of stories I would like to write about but I am hesitant to do so for the following reasons;
- I have a few stories about my sisters but they think they have nothing to do with hunting. You are The Hunter’s Wife.
- This is a site about hunting and about my hunter but once in awhile I would like to talk about myself that doesn’t pertain to hunting. I am my own person.
- I would like to share some fishing stories but I am waiting till spring.
- I have a “Boys & Boobs” story but my Mom thinks I will get a bad online hunting community reputation.
So I ask all of you, is it alright to talk about something other then hunting or fishing?

I say go for it! Pioneer Woman talks about all different kinds of things on her blog and I’m having fun doing the same thing. Of course the male Hunters Wife readers might have a different opinion…

It is all right to talk about whatever you want to talk about. After all, it is your blog.
Plus, I just want to read the stories. I say go for it.

please do, your blog is an extesion of you. It is hard to stay on one subject after the hunting season. I bring in lots of different things on my blog but always circle back to the Christmas Place.

I say P-u-h-l-e-e-s-e.. go for it!! I am the hunters wife in my home too.. BUT.. I do like to hear and talk about other things.. since I don’t hunt..

here is food for thought….
I heard yesterday that women who shop at thrift stores liken it to a hunt. They go into a huge unknown territory, search (sometimes for hours) in every nook and cranny, looking for the elusive 10 (pointer) …. if they score, they leave feeling totally elated…. if they don’t bag anything….they are somewhat disappointed…but they just keep going back til they do.
It’s the thrill of the hunt….so to speak.

Jeff, for the last 2 months I have been wanting to interview Mark and he has declined. Seeing that I am so creative, I’ve been asking him questions here and there and will be posting soon.
