Kentucky Fishing Resort - Eddy Bay Resort Lodging
This is not a paid advertisement - It is just highly recommended by me - The Hunter’s Wife
It is so important, when vacationing, to find a nice friendly place to stay. Now, most of you male fishermen probably don’t concern yourself with all the features us females concern ourselves with. I’ve heard about a few of the places my husband has stayed with the guys and lets just say I would rather tent outside and we know I’m not the camping kind of girl.
When I was researching where to stay on our vacation I found Eddy Bay Resort Lodging on the internet. Our friends, Troy and Denise, had stayed there once and highly recommended them. So that is where we booked our week’s vacation.
I would like to point out some of their great features:
- Very clean and neat rooms. We rented adjoining rooms that each included a living room, kitchen, bath and bedroom with 2 full size beds.
- Towel service daily.
- They are right on the water.
- Covered boat dock and fishing station. This is so important when the weather is hot or rainy.
- Friendly owners. They even pointed out a few great fishing spots.
- Beautiful landscaping. I would love to see it in the mid-summer months when everything is really in bloom.
- Beautiful Gazebo.
- Fire pit.
- Volleyball net.
- Water trampoline. Too bad the water was too cold for us to use it.
Here is a photo I took from the water.

This photo I took sitting outside our room early one morning.

If you are looking to get away with just the guys or with your family, I would highly recommend booking your next trip with Eddy Bay Resort Lodging. You can visit their website for much more information, some great fishing pictures, a video and other activities they provide.
Thanks Jan & Craig for a great week.

I don’t see a trip like this in our near future but I sure appreciate recommendations from people who’ve been there!

Looks like a beautiful place. It also sounds (snake in tree and fish dropped on your head excluded) like you had a good trip. I’m glad you had fun.

Great pictures! Looks and sounds like a wonderful place to stay. Could be a relaxing get away , minus the daily snake exposure.

When a website can tell you anything and promise you everything, it is so great to get a first person review of a place before you go!
Looks like the perfect place to spend some quality outdoors time…
