Lisa365 & The Rain Barrel
I normally post about my Goofy Googler on Friday but this week I just wanted to be different.
I will be updating my site over the weekend so don’t be surprised if you see a few little changes. Nothing drastic, I promise.
One of the things on my list is to update my blogroll. I do have all of my favorite outdoor bloggers but I wanted to add another category of those blogs I read often. One of those is Lisa 365 Everyday New. Lisa blogs about something new she does everyday for a year. I love this idea for a blog. I am also loving her post on the rain barrel. Maybe I’ve been living under a rock but I’ve never heard of the rain barrel. There isn’t anyone I know that uses a rain barrel but I think it is a great idea. Especially for those who feel it is necessary to water their yard 10 times a day (Mark), or the garden, or the sidewalk, or the driveway, or the patio. We can’t have a dirty patio.
I think the rain barrel is a great alternative water source. Thanks Lisa for sharing this great idea!
Have a great weekend everyone.

That is kind of a cool idea. Even if you did something new, even if it was a small thing, think how many new experiences you’d have at the end of the year.

Oh wow, thanks for featuring me & my blog!! That’s awesome!
Some people even put goldfish in their barrels (during the summer) to eat the mosquito larvae, since they can spawn so easily in the sitting water. My parents did that a few years ago; the fish got SO big!
