Love Is….
Love is….
- Standing in line, in 20 degree weather with a wind chill of 20 below, before Cabelas opens, just to receive a free $10 gift card.
- Shopping at Cabelas every weekend since they opened.
- Walking thru Cabelas for 4 hours thinking for the “LOVE OF DEER” please pick a (*&^&*$ shirt already.
- Trying to mind my manners in Cabelas when a grown man pops that pop gun and I think to myself I am going to beat him with it if he pops it one more time. Then receiving a dirty look from my husband after the man says “Did I scare you?” and I reply “Ummm yes you did, how old are you?”
- Trying to mind my manners in Cabelas thinking thank goodness I don’t have a pop gun in my hand because if that woman behind me cracks her gum one more time.
- Telling him that shirt with the deer heads all over it is nice but praying he doesn’t buy it.
- Telling him I really appreciate all of the Cabela’s jackets he bought me but I really, seriously, do not need another one.
- Praying this weekend I have a headache.
If those aren’t enough reasons for him to love me I don’t know what is.

Great story of your experience. Gave me a chuckle.
Hope Valentines will take you somewhere other than
Cabela’s.

I’m sure we won’t be there on Valentine’s Day.
But I know he is itching to go this weekend.

Artemis, I sound a bit crabby but after spending 4 hours there I was ready to go.
Norcal, thanks!
Jenn, it is love :).

I thought the pop gun comment was hilarious. Just the simple fact they were annoying you and then to want to have one for the gum chomper. Great stuff.

I told Mark tonight that the next time we go there, I am bringing my camera and taking a picture of the grown man playing with that thing and posting his picture on here.

Yes Jo that is Love, because I know you like your family knows you. In the past (BM) Before Mark - you would have never done things like this!!! I mean NEVER. You were our Betty “no” Boop, our model, or even our solid gold dancer. It was all about us, not them and what they wanted. I was going to say it may also come with age, but I would’ve never in a million years think that you would ever step foot in Cabelas!!!

You are right … But I guess someone who has known me from the 7th grade would know just how I am. I talked to Sue last night and we were laughing because Pat Benatar was on Y & R. We need to do lunch!
