Some Great Friends
Since middle school, I’ve been a part of a great friendship with some great people. Our high school years were filled with weekend parties at Ami’s, volleyball championships, football and basketball games, the beach, loves, broken hearts, groundings, swats (not me), and assassination attempts (after almost 25 years that has taken a toll on me).
We don’t see each other as much as we’d like, but we do when we can and we all still keep in touch. Here are a few of my photos from over the years.

Our 10th Reunion Picnic
Weren’t those glasses for the kiddies?

Our 20th Reunion (Tammy & Reuben are MIA)
Ami had a little too much to drink that night. I think she was leaving “I love you” messages to classmates who didn’t show up.

Our Thanksgiving Eve Cocktails
I can’t tell you how many swats those 3 guys got in middle school.
Our Grade School Program (They were rebuilding)

Sue’s Birthday Bash

To another 30 years with some of the best friends anyone could ask for!

I find it neat when friends can stay together for so long and share the past together. The only friend I still have from my school days in Switzerland is my teacher, she is now 85 and we still corresponded regularly my email and phone.

That’s great that you have all been friends for so long. I have two very close friends that I still see on a regular basis and we’ve known each other since grade school, these are the friendships that last a lifetime…now if I could only get them to come hunting with me!

My mother had a close group of girlfriends that she met in high school. She remained friends with them up until she died. They all came to her memorial in a group. It was really touching.
I’m a bit envious, because I didn’t really carry over any relationships from high school. I do still have a few friends from college.

Like I said in my post, we don’t get to see eachother as much as we’d like and some do live out of state. But we are due for a night out.

Ok - all of you !! I know I’m not the only one paying attention here. We need some feedback on these wonderful memories!!! First thing that comes to me is that I miss everyone so much. You all are not going to believe this but my son wanted to see a picture of his baseball coach last night(well, it was more like I offerred to show him one) So I pulled out the year books last night at about 2100 hrs. and didn’t go to bed until 0100 hrs. I was looking and reading. WOW — Jo we were on the same page, thinking lately. By the way, what do you mean I drank too much?? I never drink too much!! Love you all, gotta to go to sleep Andrew has Baseball practice at 0540 hrs. What is that all about?? I never heard of 2 a days for baseball. I’ll post again tomorrow.
