Rhea, thanks for the visit. If it weren't for my husband I wouldn't know about this either. The DNR websites provide a lot information and fun activities that are going on around town.

Blessed, Our DNR always has updated information. The sand castle contest isn't too far from my house and I would really like to go. I've never been.

Kristine, They are great for information, regulations and we always purchase our fishing licenses online and Marks hunting license.

Tom, that is nice for hunters.

Idaho's Fish & Game website is one of the most helpful I've ever seen - it has a hunt planner, that if you fill out the dates and type of animal you want to hunt, it will give you location of all the areas that are open to that. Or you can just fill out dates and see if there is any hunting available at that time. Pretty useful!

Tom Sorensons last blog post..<a href="http://basecamplegends.com/blog/2008/07/07/roots-part-two/" rel="nofollow">Roots - Part Two</a>

The state DNR web sites can provide you with a lot of fun activities. They're also a motherload of good information on regulations and laws.

The DNR departments usually do have a lot going on - this is a great reminder to check them out!
